Sir Martin Sorrell, a renowned British businessman and the founder of WPP plc, is the executive chairman of S4Capital. His impressive career began with him taking a controlling stake in Wire & Plastic Products in 1985, which he transformed into WPP, the world leader in advertising and marketing services. This enterprise now employs over 200,000 people in more than 3,000 offices across 112 countries. Under Sorrell's leadership, WPP won numerous awards including Holding Company of the Year at the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity for six consecutive years and Most Effective Holding Company in the Effie Global Effectiveness Index for five years running.

Sorrell served as the CEO of WPP for a remarkable 33 years, making him the longest-serving chief executive of a FTSE 100 company. Throughout his tenure, he spearheaded the acquisition of several renowned advertising-related companies, including J. Walter Thompson and Ogilvy and Mather. His leadership skills and business acumen earned him recognition as Britain’s best-performing CEO by the Harvard Business Review in October 2016, and he was named the second best-performing CEO in the world.

In 2018, Sorrell left WPP and invested his efforts into creating S4 Capital, a digital advertising and marketing services company. S4 Capital has since made multiple strategic acquisitions, including MediaMonks, MightyHive, BizTech, ConversionWorks, TheoremOne, and XX Artists. Today, the company boasts a workforce of 1,300 employees, including several former WPP employees. Sir Martin Sorrell, knighted in 2000 for his contributions to the advertising industry, continues to influence the field with his innovative strategies and profound knowledge.
