Born and raised in a small village in Sakha (Yakutia), the coldest inhabited area in the world, Snow Raven learned to mimic the sounds of nature at an early age. Her music is inspired by the traditional songs of her ancestors, the Sakha people of Arctic Siberia, who move, sing and dance through her as she performs.

Known as the pioneer of "arctic beatbox," Snow Raven's innovative soundscapes resonate with audiences worldwide. As a participant of "America’s Got Talent" 2020 and a headliner at prestigious events like Eclipse, Lightning in a Bottle, and Burning Man, she has captivated diverse audiences with her unique blend of tradition and innovation. She also performs as one half of the duo OLOX.

Snow Raven was introduced to the magic of traditional folkloric music and local Indigenous shamanic cultural practices at a young age by her grandmother and others. After graduating from the University of Yakutsk in economics, she became politically and culturally active and eventually began a musical career, traveling globally and becoming a widely sought-after performer, one who has created a unique combination of authentic Yakut traditional shamanic sounds deeply rooted in nature and modern musical forms.
