Global Media & Digital Transformation Expert; Prior CEO of Girl Scouts of the USA

Sofia Chang is a global operating executive experienced in driving scaled transformation strategically, operationally, and culturally in both for-profit companies and NGOs. In December of 2021, Chang was appointed CEO of Girl Scouts of the USA, the largest leadership organization for girls in the world. Chang was the first Asian American CEO in the group's 110-year history. In one year, Chang reversed a multi-year membership decline, reduced debt, secured unprecedented gifts totaling $100M, and developed a cultural framework founded on inclusivity. She led the organization to simplify, focus and connect to its core mission and core customer.

Prior to GSUSA, Chang was President of Distribution at Warner Media (HBO/Time Warner), having spent 20 years leading digital growth and delivering record-breaking revenue and subscriber numbers. Chang is recognized for successfully leading premium consumer brands in highly competitive markets with her comprehensive & collaborative approach in unlocking the full potential of people & partnerships.

Throughout her career, she's been a vocal advocate for women and other marginalized communities and previously served as an executive sponsor of HBO's AAPI employee resource group and as a member of the company's diversity council.

Chang herself is the mother of a Girl Scout and a lifetime member.
