Sofia Wylie is an actress and dancer, recognized for her compelling performances across television and film. She initially gained attention through her role as Buffy Driscoll on the Disney Channel series "Andi Mack." Her portfolio of roles has expanded to include Cory Bailey in "Back of the Net," Riri Williams in the "Marvel Rising" animated franchise, Mia Brooks in the Disney web series "Shook," and Gina Porter in "High School Musical: The Musical: The Series." Additionally, Wylie has made a notable appearance in "The School for Good and Evil," and voices a character in the animated series "Marvel's Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur."
Wylie's career began in the world of dance, featuring on "So You Think You Can Dance" in 2011 and 2016, and "America's Got Talent" in 2015. Her talents were further showcased during her time as a backup dancer on Justin Bieber's Purpose World Tour. In 2017, while filming "Andi Mack," she initiated the 4K Dance Series with Utah dancers, and in 2019, launched "Dancing with Sofia Wylie," an IGTV educational dance series.
Beyond her performances, Wylie is actively involved in activism, particularly in promoting diversity and inclusion within the entertainment industry. She has taken part in the Phenomenal Woman Campaign and the #PhenomenalVoter challenge. Her engagement extends to social media, where she influences a substantial audience, including 1.4 million followers on Instagram, 1.2 million on TikTok, and 28.6 thousand on Twitter. In March 2019, Wylie launched her own production company, AIFOS, indicating her growing influence in behind-the-scenes roles in the industry.
