She is a member of the board of trustees of NY-based Good+, a foundation that provides essentials for children of families in need and supports Ronald McDonald House, which offers assistance to families suffering from life-threatening illnesses. Bendet is also a member of the board of the Jay H. Baker Retailing Center of The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, her alma mater where she graduated with a degree in international relations and French.
