Staffan Landin takes the same starting point as Hans Rosling in his lectures and use the same motion graphics. The presentations he uses in his lectures are designed to Gapminder and message and example is in very much the same as Hans Rosling uses in his presentations.

He has collaborated with Hans since 2002, when he visited him at the UNDP, the UNDP to the UN in efforts to make data useful. It led to a collaboration between the UN and Gapminder for many years. During that time began Staffan also lecture on global development, focusing on human development. Staffan Landin ended at the UN in 2005 to concentrate on lectures full time.
