Stephane le Gentil joined the Clean Energy Business Council (CEBC) as CEO in June 2017. CEBC is a non-profit organization fostering the development of clean energy in the MENA region. Stephane is also Founder and CEO of Wattaqa since November 2016, providing strategic consultancy & advisory in energy efficiency and energy services (ESCO) in the Middle East region. In 2013, Stephane created Etihad ESCO, the Dubai Government Super ESCO, aiming to retrofit 30,000 buildings in Dubai. Prior to that he spent many years at a leading Fortune 500 company to build their European energy services. He is a member of the Strategic Advisory board of Efficiency Valuation Organization (EVO) and past Chairman of the European Association of Energy Service Companies, eu-ESCO.
