Actress & Lead on NBC’s "Brooklyn 99," Voice of Mirabel in Encanto

Stephanie Beatriz is an award-winning actress, producer, and activist. She is currently in production for the 6th season of "Brooklyn Nine-Nine", which was picked up by NBC at the 11th hour after an overwhelming response from the fans to Fox’s initial cancellation. A woman of color and an LGBTQ+ activist, Stephanie has advocated for the normalization of LGBTQ+ characters and intersectional representation, including on “Brooklyn Nine-Nine,” in which the bisexual actress plays 'Rosa Diaz', a no-nonsense Latina who is a brave, smart, bisexual detective with a heart of gold.

Additionally, she’s voiced roles on "Bob’s Burgers", "Bojack Horseman", and "Twelve Forever". Other television credits include "One Day at a Time", "Modern Family", and the upcoming "Treehouse Anthology" for Hulu.

Stephanie garnered rave reviews for her starring role in the 2017 SXSW Audience Award-winning film, The Light of the Moon. Other feature credits include Short Term 12, You’re Not You, and Half Magic.

In addition, she portrayed Carla in Lin Manuel Miranda's movie-musical, In the Heights. For Disney, she played Salma Espinosa in the Jessie episode "Toy Con". She also voiced Ixlan in Elena of Avalor, Gosalyn Mallard in the DuckTales reboot, and Mirabel Madrigal in the 2021 Disney animated feature film, Encanto.
