Stephanie Pacheco is the National Youth Poet Laureate of the United States, a program founded and run by Urban Word NYC. Stephanie served as the 2023 New York City and Inaugural New York State Youth Poet Laureate. She was also a part of the 2022 New York City Youth Slam Team with Urban Word NYC, obtaining the highest ranking amongst dozens of young people across the state for her poetry.

She is a long-time advocate for equity in access to education and arts, having organized with organizations such as The Healing Centered Schools Task Force, studying as a Columbia University Beyond the Bars Fellow, and being honored as a 2021 Princeton Prize in Race Relations Honoree. She has been highlighted by The Today Show, NPR, and CBS for her poetry and advocacy. Stephanie has performed at The Barclays Center, The Apollo Theater, The Schomburg Center, UN Week with the Clinton Global Initiative, The Annual Black Girl Magic Ball, and more.
