With more than 25 years of experience in branded apparel, retail and merchandising, Stephanie Pugliese joined Under Armour in September 2019 as its president of North America. Several months later, she became president of The Americas.

A graduate of the New York University Stern School of Business with a bachelor’s degree in marketing, she spent a decade at Ann Taylor, rising to the position of vice president of merchandising. Pugliese went on to serve as vice president/general merchandise manager for women’s and men’s apparel at Lands’ End for three years.

Before her move to Under Armour, she spent 11 years at Duluth Trading Company, holding multiple leadership positions. She began in 2008 as its VP of product, merchandizing and creative and was promoted throughout the decade to senior vice president/chief merchandizing and marketing officer, president and CEO. She also spent time serving on the company’s board of directors.

Her work at the Baltimore-based athletic apparel giant focuses on the company brand, connecting with consumers and prioritizing operational excellence.

Pugliese also serves as a board member for the Two Ten Footwear Foundation, a nonprofit dedicated to advancing the footwear industry and its employees through programs and professional support.
