Stephen Kearney is the PharmD, Medical Director for State and Local Government at SAS Institute.

Kearney previously worked at Pfizer as a Medical Outcomes Specialist. In that position, Kearney utilized advanced Health Information Technology (HIT) and data analytics to provide customer and clinical insights in order to inform Pfizer strategies on critical health issues and facilitate the development of customer-focused tools and medical communications to support patient access to quality medicines.

Prior to his position at Pfizer, Kearney was a Clinical Assistant Professor at the UNC Eshelman School of Pharmacy. Before his professorship, Kearney served as a Clinical Pharmacist at Duke University Medical Center.
