Stephen E. Macadam has served as Chief Executive Officer and President and as a director of EnPro Industries, Inc. since April 2008. Prior to accepting these positions with EnPro, Stephen served as Chief Executive Officer of BlueLinx Holdings Inc. Before joining BlueLinx Holdings Inc., Stephen was the President and CEO of Consolidated Container Company LLC. He served previously with Georgia-Pacific Corp. where he held the positions of Executive Vice President, Pulp & Paperboard and of Senior Vice President, Containerboard & Packaging. Stephen held positions of increasing responsibility with McKinsey and Company, Inc. from 1988 until 1998, culminating in the role of principal in charge of McKinsey’s Charlotte, North Carolina operation.

Mr. Macadam received a BS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Kentucky, an MS in Finance from Boston College, and an MBA from Harvard University, where he was a Baker Scholar.
