Stephen Rust is President of the Catalyst Division for Diageo North America. In this role, Mr. Rust is charged with leading Diageo's strategic agenda and using a more entrepreneurial, creative approach to drive a step change in the growth brands including Diageo's Single Malt Portfolio, American Whisky, High Energy, and Non Alcoholics. Mr. Rust also leads Diageo's partnerships with brands such as Nuvo and Zacapa. Previously, Mr. Rust was Senior Vice President of Joint Venture and Strategic Relationships, where he was responsible for overseeing important strategic relationships, including with the Nolet Family on Ketel One, Sean Combs on Ciroc and Raphael Yakoby on Nuvo. Mr. Rust joined Diageo eight years ago and has over 20 years of beverage alcohol industry experience. Previously, Mr. Rust successfully led Diageo's Reserve Brands business and served as the General Manager for the U.S. Spirits Southwest division. Mr. Rust joined Diageo in the capacity of Senior Vice President, Commercial Strategy. Prior to Diageo, Mr. Rust held senior level roles within the Paddington Corporation and at Schieffelin and Somerset, where he was the Executive Vice President of Sales.
