Steve Cadigan is one of Silicon Valley’s hottest properties when it comes to people, talent and culture. As Founder of Cadigan Talent Ventures LLC, a Silicon Valley-based talent strategies advisory firm, Steve helps organizations worldwide develop winning talent solutions.

In early 2017, Steve co-founded ISDI Digital University to help address the growing digital divide. ISDI offers a Masters Degree in Internet Business (MIB) and is the first of its kind in the United States.

Steve also advises fast-growth tech companies like Twitter, Google, Eventbrite, GoPro and some of Silicon Valley’s leading VC firms and media powerhouses such as Andreesen Horowitz, Sequoia, Greylock, and Norwest Venture Partners. In addition Steve sits on the advisory board of numerous companies going through rapid growth or building disruptive products in the Talent Space.

Steve is also frequently sought out as a talent expert on global TV and has been a regular guest on Bloomberg West and CNBC. He is also a regular contributor to Forbes and has been interviewed by Bloomberg Business & Radio. Fast Company, SF Chronicle, Business Insider, Financial Times, Smart CEO, Human Resource Executive Magazine, HR Magazine, Quartz, The Channel Company, Expansion & El Pais (Spain), EL Tiempo & Portafolio (Colombia), as well as CNN Expansion, Reforma & Forbes (Mexico).

With more than 25 years of leadership and executive experience in global Human Resources, Steve has practiced HR in the US, Canada and Asia-Pacific within a variety of industries. Through leading worldwide HR efforts for more than 60 M&A transactions at three global organizations since 1998, Steve has cultivated a deep understanding of business cycles, patterns, high growth, and the key elements required to forge an organization’s sustainability. Over the course of his career, the teams, cultures and organizations he has led and helped build have been recognized as exceptional, “world class” performers by the Wall Street Journal and Fortune Magazine.

Prior to launching his own firm, Steve served as VP Talent at LinkedIn from 2009 through 2012, taking the company from a private firm of 400 employees, through an IPO and into the powerhouse that it is recognized as today. The groundbreaking work Steve did at LinkedIn as the executive responsible for culture, leadership, talent and organizational development is widely seen as the textbook example of how a company can leverage its culture to scale profitably in record time.

Steve holds a BA in History from Wesleyan University and an MA in HROD from the University of San Francisco. Steve currently serves as Advisor to Hirepool, Rentmoola, Simppler and Nutanix, among others.
