Steve Foran is a thought leader in the field of gratitude, having researched, spoken and written on the subject since 2004. He helps individuals understand how they can change the world through gratitude and he does this in his unique, compelling yet very down to earth style.
Foran's audiences find inspiration to live more joyful, grateful lives, and motivation to be more active participants in the world. He has stood at the front of the room throughout North America in conversation with corporate, non-profit, public sector, conference and faith audiences. He uses social media for his monthly Musing, in which he delivers a succinct and meaningful message to a subscriber base that is growing globally.
An MBA-Professional Engineer, son, brother, husband, father, friend, and community member, Foran speaks for a living in spite of scoring a grade of 0 (yes, zero) for refusing to speak in front of his Grade 11 history class. Drawing on a 20-year career in engineering, business management, and relationship sales, he energizes his audiences with his stories and blindingly obvious perspectives that captivate their thinking. What he treasures most from his speaking engagements are the numerous personal thank you cards that somehow find their way into his mailbox.
He uses gratitude to help you improve whatever you do. Whether launching a corporate initiative, recognizing employees, inspiring event participants, motivating a congregation, engaging a Board of Directors or awakening a classroom of teenagers; Foran has an uncanny ability to connect with his audience and over the past 4 years has done so more than 35,000 times.
His ideas change beliefs which change actions and ultimately change results. Always built upon gratitude, his message is one that dismantles entitlement, develops generosity, builds engagement, and recognizes the ability of every individual to shape the course of history. Foran published his first book "Myth Number 2" in January 2010.
