Steve Levine

Steve Levine was born in Flushing, New York in 1952.

Steve Levine was born in Flushing, New York in 1952. General Education classes at San Francisco State College from 1970-72, medical and anatomy classes at Contra Costa College from 1973-1975 and completed marketing, advertising and economics classes at Sonoma State College from 1982-1983.

Steve Levine worked for his father's company, AC Paper from 1976-2003 at which point he left to start a new business. Influenced heavily by Arthur Frederick Sheldon's "Science Of Business" School, Steve Levine follows a philosophy of cultivating long term business relationships based on "progressively profitable patronage" which is the result of "permanently satisfactory service."

Steve Levine founded Excellent Packaging & Supply in December of 2003.

The BioMass™ Sustainable Foodservice Packaging Program was created under Steve's direction. This program for the first time allowed large events and venues to make the complete switch from fossil fuel based packaging to biobased packaging. Containing over 300 alternative products, it is the most comprehensive green foodservice packaging program on earth. Noting that over 70% of Americans are unaware that plastic is made from fossil fuels, EPS created marketing materials to explain the new products.

The utilization of domestic agricultural waste feed stocks for packaging is the logical outcome of creating the demand for these types of products.

The philosophy of creative partnerships with both vendors and customers and the long term vision of a single compostable waste stream that is channeled to municipal composting systems is the driving force of Steve Levine and Excellent Packaging & Supply.

Steve Levine and his Wife, Denise have 3 children, twin daughters, Molly and Tessa and a son Adam. They live in Napa, California.
