Former CMO of Chick-fil-A, Author, Marketing Strategist

Steve Robinson is the former Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) and Executive Vice President of Chick-fil-A, where he led the company's marketing from 1981 to 2015. During his tenure, he was credited with the creation of the "Eat Mor Chikin" campaign and played a pivotal role in the company's dramatic growth from 184 stores and $100 million in annual sales in 1981 to over 2,100 stores and $6.8 billion in annual sales in 2015. Robinson also served on Chick-fil-A’s board of directors from 2016 to 2018.

In addition to his extensive experience at Chick-fil-A, Robinson previously held the position of director of marketing for Six Flags Over Georgia and has been involved with several boards for organizations and ministries, including FamilyLife and Fellowship of Christian Athletes of Atlanta. He holds a master’s degree in advertising from the Medill School of Journalism at Northwestern University.

Robinson is also the author of "Covert Cows and Chick-fil-A: How Faith, Cows, and Chicken Built an Iconic Brand," a book that offers insights into Chick-fil-A’s marketing strategies and corporate culture. In his public speaking, he specializes in topics such as leadership, marketing, turnaround, branding, consumer behavior, corporate culture, customer experience, and growth, often discussing the transformative power of putting customer experience first in marketing strategies.
