He is responsible for Global team of Business Development professionals responsible for development of new ecosystems in both technology and commerce/business markets leveraging Equinix Data Centers as part of evolving cloud based architectures. Areas include SDN, IoT,Connected Vehicles, Hybrid IT, Iaas/PaaS/SaaS, Fintech/Blockchain, Security and Data Gravity.

Before Equinix, Steinhilber spent 17 years working for Cisco, where he ran strategic alliances. He built global organization to create new partnership models for Cisco around emerging vertical IoT solutions and markets such as Sports & Entertainment, Smart Grid, Smart and Connected Communities, Connected Real Estate, Industrial Automation, and Transportation to enable Internet of Things. Revenue growth from $20- $312M in 5 Years with over 30 new partners in these segments.
