Investor On BBC's "Dragons' Den," Former CEO & Co-Founder of Social Chain Group

Steven Bartlett is the youngest-ever cast member on BBC's "Dragons' Den," a television show where budding entrepreneurs get three minutes to pitch their business ideas to five multimillionaires who are willing to invest their own cash. Prior to the show, Bartlett was the Co-Founder and former CEO of Social Chain Group, a company that organizes social campaigns for global brands. He built the firm from his bedroom in Manchester at age 22 and took it public in 2019 with a market evaluation exceeding €200m. The company is Europe's largest social media and digital publishing house.

Bartlett was born in Botswana but raised in Plymouth, England. At 18 years old, he dropped out of university to start his business. Social Chain now has five locations, all in Manchester, London, Berlin, Munich, and New York. Bartlett's many accolades include being named "Entrepreneur Rising Star" at the Black British Business Awards, inducted into Manchester’s Hall of Fame by the Mayor of Greater Manchester, named the "Most Influential Industry Figure" by Econsultancy and making the Forbes 30 Under 30 list for Media and Marketing. He has appeared as a speaker more than 400 times including at the United Nations, SXSW and Ted Talk.

It’s worth mentioning that Tej Lalvani announced his departure from Dragon’s Den show after the 18th season to devote more time to his business interests.

Entrepreneur Steven Bartlett is to join Dragons' Den, becoming the youngest investor in the show's history. The 28-year-old will join Peter Jones, Deborah Meaden, Touker Suleyman and Sara Davies for the next series of the long-running BBC business programme. Bartlett is the founder and former CEO of social media marketing agency The Social Chain, which he set up from his bedroom in Manchester. He described becoming a Dragon as "a tremendous honor".
