Two-Time Emmy Nominated Independent Filmmaker who Speaks on Creative Self-Development and Tapping into One's Full Creative Potential

Steven Fischer is a two-time Emmy® nominated writer/producer whose live action and animated work includes commissions for Nextel, Maryland Public Television/PBS, TV Asia, DuPont, Department of Defense, National Security Agency, AmeriCorps, National Foundation for Advancement in the Arts, Romanian Television Network, and Hollywood Stars II.

Steven’s film credits include the acclaimed animated documentary Freedom Dance (2007) with Mariska Hargitay and Old School New School (2011), a personal study on creativity with celebrated actor Brian Cox and jazz legend McCoy Tyner among many other internationally acclaimed artists.

Drawing from over 20-years experience Steven's topics cover the ways we nurture creativity, how we bring characters to life, the history of cartoon art, and the healing power of cartoons.

His primary target audiences are university students and young people starting out professionally in the arts.

Steven is a Fulbright recipient and sought internationally to speak on creativity. He has taught or presented on various aspects of creativity at:
