Stuart Vevers

Executive Creative Director at Coach

Stuart Vevers is the Executive Creative Director at Coach. He joined as Executive Creative Director in September 2013 to lead all creative aspects of the Coach brand, including Women’s and Men’s product design, brand imagery, and store environments.

Vevers started his career at Calvin Klein in New York, and then moved on to successful roles at Bottega Veneta, Givenchy and Louis Vuitton. Vevers also collaborated with Luella Bartley and Giles Deacon.

In 2004, Vevers returned to London to become Creative Director at Mulberry. Vevers was instrumental in the early stages of the house’s transformation into the design house responsible for many of the decade’s most coveted handbags. In recognition of his work, Vevers was named Accessory Designer of the Year at the 2006 British Fashion Awards.

In July 2007, Vevers was appointed Creative Director of Loewe, the almost two-century-old Spanish leather house owned by LVMH Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton. Vevers radically transformed the traditional accessories brand, revitalizing both its women’s and menswear businesses.
