Already called the 'future of renting', LoftSmart connects student renters to apartment buildings looking to fill leases. More than 250,000 leases are available to instantly book on the website and the company takes a percentage cut of each lease booked. The New York City-based startup, cofounded by Sam Bernstein and Sundeep Kumar, has processed millions in lease transactions already and raised $5 million from investors.
