More Detail

Born in Brooklyn, New York to an Italian Catholic mother who sang with Gilbert & Sullivan, Susan remembers performing at a young age. She recalls: “I was only 3...mom and dad had lost track of me and were frantically looking for me in a Chicago train station. When they found me I was singing “Baby It’s Cold Outside” before a gathering crowd.” She continued as a child to produce neighborhood shows, stringing a rope from one end of the garage front to the

other for the curtain, dressing up her sister Jackie: “And now...the star of the show, Jackie!” Life was a continual performance-filled adventure as one of eleven children. Mimi and Jackie frequently played starring rolls in the neighborhood productions. Susan sang in night clubs for a very short time, as the call of God soon led her in another direction. She had been raised in church, and had felt a calling at a young age, but high school drew her toward worldly pursuits. At age 20, she began seeking a supernatural God, through the occult and “sixth sense” books, not knowing that this was the counterfeit to God’s gifts and Holy Spirit. Her search ended when a Campus For Christ Bible Four Spiritual Laws booklet found its way into her hands. Hungry for God, she read the prayer first skeptically, and then something (God’s grace) made her read it again with feeling. Thus began her adventure into the Jesus Movement, a whole story in itself. She began to write poetry, then songs. She felt a calling to Bible college, and while there felt led to start Word Productions to publish the Gospel  throughout the earth, and serve those with that desire. Her studies gained another reason: She had wanted to have all of God she could get and to be filled with His Holy Spirit.

Feeling a definite call to theministry. Now, knowing His Word well, would help her distinguish sound doctrine to publish the Gospel. She is a  member of ASCAP, author and coauthor of many children’s songs; Her album "A Secret Place" was released 2009 Spring through digital channels. The album “Prayin’ for You” aired on the national Family Life Radio stations, others, and in Australia. Her songwriting had moved into also writing and publishing the Word of God.

Susan has been a guest speaker and musician at various churches and groups around the U.S.  Susan has been a frequent television guest and a Sky Angel Satellite Radio guest on “God Answers Prayer” which airs nationally.

She is the founder of Word Productions LLC Christian publishers and President of Life to the World Ministries, Inc., a missions educational organization, which she founded  in 2006. With the help of KNKT radio in Albuquerque, Central Command was given ten requested cases of Battlefield Prayers pocket prayer and promises books for the men and women on the field. Over 3,000 were also sent to Lieutenant Commander at the Navy Chaplain School. He was the assistant at that time to the head Navy Chaplain. He said, “Send me all you can and I’ll get them to the Navy, Marines, Coast Guard, and to the 1,000 ministry centers.”
