Susan Summons, a Hall of Fame Coach with over 37 years of experience, is a distinguished figure in sports education and leadership. She has been recognized among the 100 Most Influential Sports Educators in America by the Institute for International Sport.

A retired associate professor and women's basketball coach, Summons is also the founder of Best of the Rest Stars, Inc., a non-profit organization providing basketball training and life skills to girls and boys. As the founder of Susan Summons Companies, she consults on life coaching, leadership development, team building, and public speaking. Summons is a dynamic speaker and author, earning recognition as one of the Top 50 Most Powerful African-American Business Professionals of South Florida.

A pioneer in the Women's Professional Basketball League, Summons was drafted in the 3rd round by the New Jersey Gems and played for the New England Gulls. Her extensive accolades include induction into multiple Halls of Fame and recognition as Florida’s winningest women’s basketball coach.
