Susie is a former high school speech and drama teacher, has written 51 books, and receives more than 1,000 letters and e-mails from teens each month. Susie is also a former youth minister and the founding editor of BRIO Magazine.

Susie is a keynote speaker at the Girls of Grace conferences with Point of Grace, and has traveled on tour as a speaker for Rebecca St. James and also spoken for Zoegirl’s Freedom tour.

In her spare time Susie enjoys walking her 10-lb. Miniature Schnauzer, Obie, making funny cards for friends and eating cereal for dinner
