Suyang Zhang returns to the Midas List after dropping off in 2014. He joined IDG Capital in 1994 and has spent the last 20 years investing in China across sectors including consumer services, healthcare and industrial tech. He led Series A investments in companies such as Huazhu Hotels Group (IPO), Kanghui Medical (acquired by Medtronics), and Chinese-listed healthcare firm Andon. Zhang studied electronics engineering at Shanghai University before moving to Germany to study business management in the late 1980s.
