Suzanne Braun Levine            

Former Editor of Ms.; Expert on Women and Aging

Suzanne Braun Levine is a recognized authority on women’s issues and the media. She was recently interviewed for the "Feisty Side of Fifty" blogtalkradio, expanding her article, “The Truth Will Set You Free (But First it Will Piss You Off).”

Her books include "How We Love Now: Sex and the New Intimacy in Second Adulthood," "50 is the New Fifty: Ten Life Lessons for Women in Second Adulthood," "Father Courage: What Happens When Men Put Family First," "Inventing the Rest of Our Lives: Women in Second Adulthood," which identifies a new life stage for women.

She has lectured widely on the subject of women and aging and has been featured on "Good Morning America," NPR and in People magazine. She was the first editor of Ms. magazine for 17 years and went on to become editor-in-chief of the Columbia Journalism Review, the premier magazine of media criticism. She produced a Peabody Award winning documentary, "She’s Nobody’s Baby," and her essays have appeared in O: The Oprah Magazine, Newsweek, and More, where she is a contributing editor.
