Expert Financial Advisor, Former Host of "The Suze Orman Show" & Best-Selling Author

Susan "Suze" Orman is an author, financial advisor, motivational speaker, and television host. She is currently the podcast host of the "Suze Orman Women & Money Podcast."

Orman has a background in finance, she earned a degree in social work then worked as a financial advisor for Merrill Lynch, and was vice president of retail customer investments at Prudential Bache Securities, before founded the Suze Orman Financial Group.

In 2002, her program The Suze Orman Show began airing on CNBC. In 2006, she won a Gracie Award for Outstanding Program Host on The Suze Orman Show. She has written several books on the topic of personal finance, including The 9 Steps to Financial Freedom, You Earned it Don't Lose it , and The Courage to be Rich. Other books by Orman include: The Road to Wealth * and The Laws of Money, The Lessons of Life*.

Orman also writes a financial advice column for O, The Oprah Magazine, and contributes to The Philadelphia Inquirer, Lowes MoneyWorks, and Your Business at Home Magazine. She is the former author of Yahoo!'s "Money Matters" and has written for the Costco Connection Magazine.

In 2018, Suze began serving as a Special Advocate for the National Domestic Violence Hotline, to help spread awareness regarding financial abuse.
