Suzette Quintanilla

Executive Producer of "Selena: The Series"

Selena y Los Dinos was a Tejano band in which American singer Selena performed, and sister, Suzette, was the drummer. The band Selena y Los Dinos was formed by Selena at age nine. Selena and Suzette kickstarted their career at parties and family gatherings, and the band gained popularity, releasing more than half a dozen albums and winning many awards. Selena went on to sign with EMI Latin who told Selena that the world wanted Selena, not Los Dinos. Selena then began releasing her studio albums under her own logo title Selena and not Selena y Los Dinos.

After Selena's tragic murder in 1995, Suzette became the family spokesperson. In 2017, a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame was unveiled for Selena, and Suzette accepted the honor for her sister. In 2018, the Quintanilla family partnered with Netflix and Campanario to create Selena: The Series, following the life-changing choices Selena and her family made along the way to make her dreams come true and navigate her success. Suzette was designated as one of the executive producers.
