Born in Donetsk, Ukraine. Graduated from Donetsk National University Law School with honors. Member and winner of numerous international law competitions, fellow of the Ukrainian parliamentary scholarship. Manages leading youth legal Ukrainian NGO’s since 2007. Svitlana contributed a lot to the development and success of such organizations as European Law Students Association Ukraine (ELSA Ukraine), Ukrainian Bar Association Students' League, Youth Centre for Legal Studies. Since 2008 Svitlana has been holding positions of project manager and then Deputy Executive Director in the Forum of Young Ukrainian Leaders and Ukrainian Hromada (NGOs). In 2010-2011 Svitlana was involved in management and development of brand new political party “Meritocratic Party of Ukraine”. Since 2008 Svitlana also performs as a private practicing lawyer. In 2012 Svitlana has successfully passed bar examination and was admitted to the bar. Svitlana is also co-founder and lawyer of the initiative called “Epravo.in.ua”, which provides on-line legal services and pro bono legal support in the public interest cases.
