Swin Cash is the Vice President of Basketball Operations and Team Development of the National Basketball Association's (NBA) New Orleans Pelicans. In this role, Cash assists in scouting talent and helping guide player development on and off the floor, along with other roles within the organization.
During an illustrious 15-year Women's National Basketball Association (WNBA) career, Cash appeared in nearly 500 regular season games with the Detroit Shock, Seattle Storm, Chicago Sky, Atlanta Dream and New York Liberty. A three-time WNBA champion (2003, 2006, 2010), four-time WNBA All-Star (2003, 2005, 2009, 2011), and two-time WNBA All-Star Game MVP (2009, 2011), Swin also helped lead the U.S. Women’s National Team to two Olympic gold medals (2004, 2012) and was named one of the WNBA’s Top 20 Best and Most Influential players.

Cash is one of 11 women to receive an Olympic gold medal, an NCAA Championship, a Fiba World cup gold and a WNBA Championship. She was inducted into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame on September 9, 2022.
Following her retirement at the conclusion of the 2016 season, Swin assumed a first-of-its-kind WNBA front office position as Director of Franchise Development for the New York Liberty. Cash also went on to cover sports and culture for several different media outlets, including Turner Sports, CBS Sports, and MSG Network.
Off the court, Swin is the founder of Cash Building Blocks, an urban development company that renovates and offers affordable homes for low-income families, and the Cash for Kids Foundation, whose mission is to motivate, educate and elevate kids through physical fitness, nutrition, education, cultural trips, and sports camps.
