Movie fans worldwide have been flocking to see Stallone's films for over 30 years, making "Sly" one of Hollywood's biggest-ever box office draws.

Born on July 6, 1946, in New York's gritty Hells Kitchen, the young Stallone attended the American College of Switzerland and the University of Miami, eventually obtaining a B.A. degree. Initially, he struggled to find his way in the industry, taking much smaller roles and trying to make ends meet.

Stallone is most recognized for his work in the Rocky franchise: the first of which scoring ten Academy Award nominations, winning the Best Picture Award of 1976. However, this was just the first of Stallone's iconic characters. Stallone starred in the box-office hit Rambo and its sequels,The Expendables franchise, Spy Kids and countless others. Stallone has utilized his vocal talents to several animated projects including Antz, Liberty Kids, and 2021's The Suicide Squad.

In addition to his extensive film career, Stallone is an accomplished artist, completing paintings on canvas as well as sculpture work. He has had impressive exhibitions at Art Basil, The Russian State Museum, and most recently at the Nice Museum of Contemporary Art in France.
