Taimur Hyat is chief strategy officer at Prudential Investment Management, a $933-billion diversified asset manager, where he also oversees the Multi-Asset Class Solutions group. PIM manages public equity, public fixed income, private fixed income, real estate and alternative strategies for a broad array of institutional and retail clients. Hyat joined Prudential from Credit Suisse, where he served as global head of strategy and product development and was a member of the operating committee for Credit Suisse Asset Management. Previously he was head of joint ventures and Americas strategy for Lehman Brothers. Earlier in his career, Hyat was an associate partner at McKinsey & Co. in New York. He received a Ph.D. in economics from Oxford University and was a lecturer in economics at Oxford's St. John's College.
