Tajan Braithwaite Renderos is an ICF-certified Leadership Development Coach with 15 years of experience training, managing, and evaluating the impact of national training and technical assistance centers. She has successfully coached and trained first time managers, middle managers, and senior executives, many of whom have yet to have formal training on how to develop a coaching approach to management.
Her most recent clients include Directors to C-level leaders in organizations such as: Twitter, Netflix, Lyft, Rocket Software, BMW, Shopify and others.
Renderos gave the keynote address at the TEDx BU event with her well-known talk, "The Danger of Your Company's Bias Toward the "Rock-Star" Employee." She also discussed the secrets of effective one-on-one meetings with Dr. Perkins on BlogTalkRadio.

How to Delegate With Ease! Avoid Micromanaging Using the MCDC Framework
Even seasoned leaders sometimes struggle with clear communication and delegation. This skill is essential for leaders to master so they can create a sense of inclusivity on their team, mentor well, and to have the bandwidth needed to think strategically. In this highly interactive session, participants will work through perfectionistic tendencies that block effective delegation. Also, you'll learn how to make explicit instead of soft requests, and cement this learning with practice and feedback. Finally, you'll learn how to build enough time in your workplans for mentoring as you delegate.
Leadership Level-Up: Ditch Self-Doubt and Improve Self-Confidence
In this highly interactive 60-minute virtual workshop, Renderos characterizes and normalizes feelings of impostor phenomenon most people contend with at some point in their careers. How to Increase People Management Skills of Struggling First-Time Managers Using the MCDC Framework

Renderos teaches relevant coaching techniques including appreciative inquiry that are applicable for great people management. Renderos also offers strategies to help you get in the right 'head' and 'heart' space to have conversations with the level of neutrality and curiosity that are essential for coaching and required for these conversations to be constructive leaving your direct reports empowered to solve their own problems. This knowledge is then cemented through role-play practice with realistic scenarios and lots of feedback.
