Tamara Taylor is the Founder & CEO, Author & Speaker, Publisher, and Seasonal Journey Coach of her companies Rise to Impact Change, Seasons of Preparation Publishing, and Reclaiming Your Dreams. In her companies she serves one mission and purpose and that is to elevate all of her clients to discover and achieve their personal, interpersonal, educational, and professional purpose and success. Tamara’s education includes a bachelor’s degree in business administration specializing in management and international studies, master’s degree in educational psychology, master’s degree mental health counseling, and earning credits towards completing her doctorate degree in advance studies in human behavior. Tamara’s experiences, professional trainings, and certifications include: general education, special education, behavioral analysis specialist, district level leadership, Crisis Prevention Institute instructor, Center for Teacher Effectiveness national trainer, professional development trainer, in-class coach for classroom and behavior management, book publishing, public speaking, and Seasonal Journey coaching.
Life is filled with the search for purpose, significance, belonging, and success. That search is the Seasonal Journey. Just like everyone else, Tamara wanted to know and achieve her purpose, significance, belonging, and success. Learning and understanding the reasons for her experiences in her Seasonal Journey is how she came to her purpose, significance, belonging, and her success. The Seasonal Journey is personal, interpersonal, educational, and professional. It is the moments and decisions that define who we are and who we are positioning ourselves to be.
In Tamara's Seasonal Journey she discovered that through every good and challenging experience they were designed to prepare her for the very things she was in search of....purpose, significance, belonging, and success. It was in those pivotal moments and decisions in her Seasonal Journey that she learned to be resilient against all odds, was empowered, and acquired and sharpened her skills, talents, and gifts. The key to purpose and success in the Seasonal Journey is to access a state of mind that goes far beyond what is visual to the eyes and audible to the ears. That required her to see and hear what others could not see and hear about her, them, and situations. It required her to persevere, even when she was ready to give up, and become innovative.
Tamara's Seasonal Journey touched all areas of her life and every emotion there is. While reaching goals, celebrating achievements, and taking in the good experiences of her Seasonal Journey, Tamara was not exempt from traumas, hardships, and moments of discouragement. But through it all she always looked for what she could take from every good and challenging experience to add value to herself and others as she moved forward.
Reaching purpose, significance, belonging, and success the Seasonal Journey continues. During different stages of life the shaping of your purpose, significance, belonging, and success continues. Tamara's Seasonal Journey has led her to be the Founder & CEO, Author & Speaker, Publisher, and Seasonal Journey Coach of her three successful businesses. Although three different companies, the mission and purpose that she serves to all of her clients in each of her companies is the same. It is to elevate them to identify and achieve their personal, interpersonal, educational, and professional purpose and success.

Lock & Key professional development focuses on the 5 evidence-based keys that unlock the secret to the most prevalent issue in schools today, the performance art and science for implementing classroom management. Lock & Key does not seek to replace any classroom management program schools are implementing. Instead, Lock & Key is designed to increase the effectiveness of any classroom management program by providing the performance art and science behind the implementation of classroom management strategies and behavior interventions.
Although implementing great classroom management systems, programs, strategies, and interventions, many teachers continue to struggle with persistent acting out behaviors from many students in their classes. On the other hand, there are those teachers that are able to effectively implement the same classroom management systems, programs, strategies, and interventions with the same students. Why, given the same approach to classroom management with the same students, are some teachers effective and not others?
