Tamera Mowry-Housley is a versatile actress, talk show host, and entrepreneur. She is best known for her role in the popular 1990s sitcom "Sister, Sister," where she starred alongside her twin sister, Tia Mowry. Mowry-Housley's charisma and comedic timing won over audiences, earning her several awards and nominations, including the Kids' Choice Award for Favorite Female TV Star from 1995 to 1997 and the NAACP Image Award for Outstanding Actress in a Comedy Series in 1998 and 1999.

After "Sister, Sister," Mowry-Housley continued to build a successful acting career, starring in television movies such as the Disney Channel Original Movie "Twitches" and its sequel "Twitches Too." She made guest appearances on shows like "Strong Medicine" and "Roommates." She also reunited with her sister Tia for the 2011 reality series "Tia & Tamera," chronicling their personal and professional lives. In addition to acting, Mowry-Housley became a prominent figure in daytime television as a co-host of the Emmy-winning talk show "The Real" from 2013 to 2020, where she was known for her warmth, humor, and thoughtful commentary on various topics. Her work on "The Real" earned her a Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Entertainment Talk Show Host in 2018. In the same vein, she appeared as "Seashell" on season 5 of "The Masked Singer" in 2021 and joined "Home & Family" as a new family member in December 2020.

More recently, Mowry-Housley has dived into the competitive world of cooking and baking shows. She co-hosts "Baker's Dozen," a baking competition show for Hulu, and hosts and judges on "Table Wars." Moreover, Mowry-Housley signed an overall deal with Crown Media Family Networks in 2020 to star in and executive produce original films, which included appearances in the TV films "A Christmas Miracle" in 2019 and "Christmas Comes Twice" in 2020. Staying true to her love for the holidays, she appeared in the 2023 Hallmark Movie "Dream Moms."

Outside of her on-screen work, Mowry-Housley has explored entrepreneurial ventures. She co-owns a Napa Valley winery, Housley Napa Valley, with her husband, former Fox News correspondent Adam Housley. They also established a coffeehouse named Barnhouse Napa Brews in the area. The couple married in 2011 and share two children. Mowry-Housley has also authored a memoir titled "You Should Sit Down for This," in which she shares personal insights about her life, career, and faith. Throughout her career, Mowry-Housley has used her platform to advocate for diversity in Hollywood, maternal health, and empowering women, and she remains a respected figure in the entertainment industry.
