Tara Davis-Woodhall is an accomplished track and field athlete who has achieved notable success as a long jumper and is ranked number one in the world. Transitioning into her collegiate years, Davis-Woodhall attended Agoura High School and later signed with Texas University in 2017. There, she became a four-time All-American, won Nationals, and shattered two NCAA collegiate records, earning her the title of a double-record breaker in the same week.

Her prowess in the sport has been recognized on international platforms, with Davis-Woodhall winning a gold medal in the women's long jump at the 2024 Summer Olympics and a silver medal at the 2023 World Championships. Representing her country at the Summer Olympics twice, first in 2020, where she finished sixth in the long jump, and again in 2024, where she clinched her first Olympic gold. She also won three titles at the state track championships and was named The Star's Girls Track Athlete of the Year.

Davis-Woodhall is known as “America's Cowgirl” with her iconic cowboy hats, custom USA boots, and infectious personality both on and off the field. She currently serves as an assistant coach for the Kansas State University Track and Field team. She is also part of a generation of social-savvy athletes, operating a YouTube channel with her husband, Paralympian Hunter Woodhall. The channel showcases their life as an athletic couple, providing an intimate look at the daily challenges and triumphs of professional athletes.
