Tara Furiani

Founder of Tarabull Media, Host of the "Not the HR Lady" Podcast, Author & Former Chief People Officer

Described as "Creative and effective", "an intelligent business professional", "a natural leader”, “an incredibly quick learner", "a clear and proficient communicator", "delightfully fun and energetic, while abundantly smart and sharp as a tack" and "she's my role model", by her peers… Furiani’s a sought after thought leader, a strategic yet creatively minded executive who sees the biggest picture and has made a career out of building, reimagining, and aiding organizations in being better humans, while continuing to grow, scale and increase profits.

After spending 20 years in the corporate world of work, 12 of those as an international Chief People Officer, Furiani founded Not the HR Lady, a ‘People’ Firm, Popular Web Series, a Learning & Networking Community and movement toward… All Things People. No BS.

Her mission is simple… to create an on-going dialogue and affect change related to previously thought of as “taboo” topics for the workplace (like bullying, racism, good old boys’ clubs, brilliant assholes, and more) that often marginalize, harm & oppress Women, BIPOC and LGBTQIA+ employees.

Companies all over the world hire Furiani as a Business Strategist & Executive Teambuilder, Facilitator, HR & DEIB Expert, C-Level Coach, to deliver keynotes at events (virtual or live), to help them find the right executives for their organizations and so much more.

Furiani holds several certifications in Predictive Index, DiSC, Dale Carnegie, Franklin Covey, Meyers-Briggs and more.

She spends her free time with her seven children, her NTHRL co-host & partner Justin Boggs, her mom and aunt, who round out their multigenerational household of 11.

Their fun family team enjoys traveling all over the world, playing dark hide and seek, spending time at the lake, making music together, throwing dance parties, screaming on roller coasters, and cooking together as a family.

Furiani’s never met a stranger and loves checking out new restaurants, going on vacation and laughing the night away with her friends.
