Actress Known for Role in "God Bless America" and "Aquarius"

Tara Lynne Barr was born in Orange County, California. Barr began acting at the age of seven as a member of the Boy's and Girl's Clubs of Huntington Valley's Clubhouse Theater, where she made her stage debut as Ted-E-Bear in a production of "Toy Camp".

After performing in many productions with the Clubhouse Theater, Barr turned her attention to film and television projects. She was 11 when she starred opposite Sean Whalen in the dark comedy short, "Road Kill," which won the 2005 Audience Choice Award at the New York City Horror Film Festival. Later that year, Barr appeared as the host of Encore Channel's "Fear Fest: 31 Nights of Horror." Her early television credits also include a dramatic turn on NBC's "Crossing Jordan," and a variety of comedic appearances for Disney and Nickelodeon.

In 2011, Barr had her feature film debut when she starred with Joel Murray in the film, "God Bless America," written and directed by comedian Bobcat Goldthwait. Most recently, she was cast as Katie in NBC's series, "Aquarius."
