Táta Vega is a vocalist whose career spans theater, film, and several musical genres. Currently touring with Elton John, she has sung backup for Stevie Wonder, Madonna, and others. Vega released nine studio albums, including Now I See, earning her a Stellar Award nomination. She was the voice of Shug Avery in The Color Purple, leading to an Oscar nomination, and sang in the soundtracks for The Lion King and Forrest Gump.
