Award-Winning Journalist, Environmentalist, Author of "Inconspicuous Consumption: The Environmental Impact You Don't Know You Have" & Granddaughter of JFK

Tatiana Schlossberg is an award-winning journalist and former New York Times Science writer whose work has appeared in The Washington Post, The Atlantic, Vanity Fair, The Boston Globe, Bloomberg, Yale Environment 360, and elsewhere. Her book, Inconspicuous Consumption: The Environmental Impact You Don’t Know You Have, about the unseen environmental and climate impacts of the Internet and technology, food, fashion and fuel, won the Rachel Carson Environment Book Award in 2020.

Tatiana worked as an intern at The Vineyard Gazette in Edgartown, MA, and got her start as a municipal reporter at The Record in Bergen County, N.J. She worked for several years at the New York Times as a Science and Climate reporter, and on the Metro desk.

She lives in New York.
