Tavetta began her speaking and writing career at the age of 8 years old while attending elementary school in Gary, Indiana. During her grade school years she travelled throughout the state of Indiana writing and speaking. Then, during her senior year of high school, her English Teachers believed in her enough to enter her writings into national contests. Winning writing and speech contests led to traveling opportunities throughout the United States to receive prize money. Then she became a published writer in high school. In 2006, she began writing television program treatments, hosting and producing quality media content.

Tavetta currently travels as a Public Speaker, Published Author, Award Winning Mentor and Philanthropist on a mission to help people discover and live their purpose. She is an Author of 5 books and a contributing Author featured in 2 books.

Tavetta is the Founder of Abundant Life Publications. Through this company she published 10 magazines; she provides business consulting and book publishing for people who have a story to tell for the good of humanity. She is also the Founder of Gary Life Education Initiative Incorporated; through this organization she has provided educational services to benefit 20,000 children and their families. She has developed corporate mentoring programs; youth leadership development programs; workforce development programs; a college care package program; college tours; college and career readiness workshops for schools, colleges and community centers.

Tavetta enjoys speaking for conferences, corporate events, educational events, leadership events, marriage events, radio shows and television shows.

Tavetta has 30 years of public speaking and writing experience. She has written curriculums and conducted trainings to equip community members and business professionals to mentor children. She developed two main programs entitled, “College Readiness in the Classroom” and “Learn from Leaders.” From 2010 through 2016 she travelled and facilitated workshops to teach the programs to high school students in Kansas City, Missouri and throughout the state of Indiana. At the heart of each presentation is her desire to help people make the rest of their life, the best of their life!
