A professional actor and musician, and DePaul Theatre School graduate, Tawny Newsome is currently appearing on the Second City’s Mainstage in their 101st revue, "Let Them Eat Chaos." Prior to that, Tawny appeared in the Jeff-award winning etc 36th revue, "We’re All in This Room Together." She also toured with the Second City National Touring company, and has made several appearances on the Chicago Tribune’s stage and radio show "Chicago Live!"

Tawny has also performed with several Chicago theatre companies including Chicago Shakespeare Theater, Victory Gardens, Porchlight Music Theater, Bohemian Theater Ensemble, Collaboraction, and Walkabout Theater. She’s also been seen commercially in spots for Totino’s, Budweiser, and Sears, among others. Tawny is a singer and sometime guitarist, frequently playing with local bands, and can often be found onstage alongside the very talented Jon Langford. She appeared on his album "Old Devils." Tawny’s first solo album “Too Proud to Steal” was released in May 2013.
