Taya Renae Kyle is an author, political commentator, and military veteran's family activist. Known as the widow of US Navy SEAL Chris Kyle, she was portrayed by Sienna Miller in the 2014 film American Sniper about her husband's life. Kyle is the co-author of American Wife: A Memoir of Love, Service, Faith, and Renewal, a book about life with her husband.

Taya regularly speaks to audiences across the country about the challenges facing veterans, first responders, and their families. She also talks about the value of knowing who you are, what you believe in and standing strong for it. A riveting and inspiring speaker, Taya is a perfect fit for military and veteran organizations, corporations, historical societies, faith-based groups, colleges and universities, and women’s organizations.

She’s been a guest and commentator for NBC, Fox News, MSNBC, Good Morning America, and Anderson Cooper. Additionally, her moving speech at the National Rifle Association’s 2013 annual meeting attracted widespread attention and established her as an outspoken leader.

Taya has contributed a foreword and an afterword to the new book "American Gun: a history of the US in Ten Firearms (William Morrow)," authored by Chris Kyle with William Doyle, and was involved in the film adaptation of Chris Kyle’s book, "American Sniper," while working on a book of her own.
