Chairman, President and CEO Edison International

Theodore F. Craver, Jr., is chairman, president and chief executive officer of Edison International, the parent company of Southern California Edison, one of the nation’s largest electric utilities, and Edison Mission Group (EMG), a competitive power generation business and parent company to Edison Mission Energy and Edison Capital. Craver was elected chairman and chief executive officer in August 2008, and president in April 2008. Craver was chairman, president and chief executive officer of EMG from January 2005 to April 2008. Before that, he was executive vice president of parent company Edison International, and held the position of chief financial officer and treasurer from January 2000 through December 2004. Before joining Edison in 1996, Craver served as executive vice president and corporate treasurer of First Interstate Bancorp from 1991 to 1996. In that role, he was responsible for corporate development, treasury, and sales and trading of investment and insurance products. While at First Interstate, Craver also served as executive vice president and chief financial officer of the wholesale banking subsidiary from 1986 to 1991. Before joining First Interstate, he spent four years with Bankers Trust Company of New York and seven years with Security Pacific National Bank in various capital markets sales and trading capacities. Craver serves on the Board of Directors of Health Net, Inc.; on the Board and Executive Committee of the Edison Electric Institute; as chairman of the Board of the Electric Power Research Institute; as chairman of the Board of the Electric Drive Transportation Association; and on the Board of Trustees of the Autry National Center. Craver earned an MBA and a bachelor’s degree in economics and international relations from the University of Southern California.
