Former U.S. Marine & Activist against Islamophobia

Ted Hakey Jr. is a former United States Marine. You may have read about Ted Hakey’s story in the news. On November of 2015 Ted had shot multiple rounds into the Mosque next door to his house in response to the Paris Attacks by Terrorists claiming to be Muslim. After that everything changed. He was forgiven by the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community, whose Mosque he shot, and immediately became very close to them. His hatred for Islam and bias towards Muslims disappeared in an instant. Ted has done a myriad of interviews worldwide. His video was number one most watched worldwide on BBC. His story was also on NBC’s national Today Show. Ted spoke to 9,000 people at the 2015 Jasla Salana, America’s oldest and largest Islamic convention, in Harrisburg, PA. Ted was born in 1967 Bridgeport, CT and went to St Joseph’s School from 1973-1981. Ted attended Emmett O’Brien RVTS High School from 1981-1985.
