Terrell Owens is a former American football wide receiver. A six-time Pro Bowl selection, Owens holds or shares several NFL records. His 15,934 career receiving yards rank second in NFL history and his 153 receiving touchdowns rank third.

Owens played college football and basketball at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga and was selected in the third round of the 1996 NFL Draft by the San Francisco 49ers. Owens was traded to the Philadelphia Eagles in 2004. Two years later, he was released and signed to another large pact by the Dallas Cowboys, only to be given his unconditional release on March 4, 2009. Owens also played for the Buffalo Bills and Cincinnati Bengals in 2009 and 2010, respectively. He played for the Allen Wranglers of the Indoor Football League in 2012.

During his career, Owens amassed several awards and honors. He was named a first-team All-Pro by the Associated Press five times and was also the second NFL player to record five seasons with 13 or more touchdowns, and he was the first to score a touchdown in seven straight Monday Night Football games.

Owens is an author, having released books including the fitness books "Finding Fitness" and the children's book "Little T Learns to Share."

Owens is an advocate for Alzheimer's disease prevention and awareness and has been since his grandmother was diagnosed with the heartbreaking disease back in 1996. In 2003, he testified before Congress in an effort to increase federal funding for Alzheimer’s research. In 2009, he won the Alzheimer's Association's first-ever Young Champions Award for raising awareness about the disease.
