Terri was raised attending church weekly, she went to a private Christian school, and her environment and up bringing was to trust in God and to be obedient to him. She was raised in a close-knit middle class family, but at the young age of 14, Terri started making some bad choices and these choices affected her in youth and well into adulthood. By the young age of 21 years old , Terri was a mother of 4, was homeless and single, and had endured domestic violence from the hands of her children's father. These choices lead her to living in the projects and enduring years of poverty!! But the Lord continued to move in Terri's life, and allowed her to obtain a nursing degree. However, even this avenue lead her down a road filled with negative people, failures and racism. While working with troubled teens at a psychiatric hospital, the Lord revealed to Terri her gift of encouraging others. Thus, her PURPOSE was given to her and she realized that it was her assignment to tell everyone that with God on their side they could survive anything. This Inspirational speaker loves to help others find be all the God has them to be.
