Small business expert Teri Lonier is president of Working Solo, Inc., a marketing consulting firm based in New Paltz, NY that advises Fortune 500 and high tech firms on how to access and communicate with the booming SOHO (small office/home office) market.

Lonier is also the creator of the award winning "Working Solo" collection of resources for entrepreneurs. These include the Working Solo series of books and audiotapes as well as the monthly e-mail newsletter, and seminars on entrepreneurial issues for national associations and corporations.

Lonier's work springs from her background as an independent professional since 1978 and her involvement with the personal computer industry since 1981. Her research on independent entrepreneurs and her personal experience with this national trend makes her a frequent and popular media guest. Her work has been featured in The New York Times, Wall Street Journal, Fast Company, Fortune, Inc., Business Week, Home Office Computing, Business Start-Ups and other leading business publications, as well as on CNBC, CNN/fn, the BBC and radio programs nationwide.

A professional speaker since 1981, Lonier has given presentations on business topics in 27 states. She recently was honored as the keynote speaker at the First International Conference of Women in Business in Tokyo.

In addition, Lonier is founder and CEO of the SOHO Summit, the annual executive conference where business leaders meet to network and learn about the small office/home office market.
