His distinctive “State of Mind” method, guides professionals in creating a connection and engaging their listeners by developing communications skills based on their own experiences and innate style.

The theme of Ward’s new book "The Art of Presenting" – looks at how to connect, engage and influence others in every communication situation. During his work as a writer in Hollywood, he became highly skilled at the fine art of presenting and realized that presenting was a critical component in everything we do in life. “It all boils down to our power to connect with people, whether in leadership, business or our own personal lives.”

Ward graduated from the University of California at Davis with a degree in Applied Behavioral Sciences and began his career as an advertising copywriter and account executive in Northern California.
